March 19, 2025 – For the first time in 26 years, the legendary fighting game series FATAL FURY returns, reimagined for a new generation with a game-changing fresh take on the game’s already electrifying original soundtrack. Gaming giant SNK has partnered with Salvatore Ganacci, to create a bespoke musical experience unlike anything seen—or heard—before.
With the tagline “REV IT UP”, FATAL FURY’s pre-campaign sets the tone for a fusion of gameplay and music. This latest sequel, FATAL FURY: CITY OF THE WOLVES, will officially launch on April 24th, and at the heart of this monumental project is the appointment of Salvatore Ganacci as this game’s collaboration music advisor, which specifically involves the stage music provided by international electronic artists and producers. Known for his boundary-pushing artistry and global influence, Ganacci played a pivotal role in curating and shaping this collaborative effort. Not only does he contribute his signature sound to the game, but he also helped curate and collaborate with an extraordinary roster of eleven international artists. Marking the first time a video game has enlisted such an expansive roster of global music talent to produce original, bespoke works.
What makes this collaborative soundtrack truly revolutionary is its design: 19 original compositions, each crafted to capture the essence of the game’s in-depth lore, diverse characters, and immersive stages. From the bustling energy of neon-lit cityscapes to the haunting atmospheres of ancient temples, every track becomes a part of the player’s journey, blending culture and narrative into an unparalleled experience.
